eeep, PENGUIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINS! <3
Okay, squealing cuteness aside, I think this is a wonderful idea as a crafts activity for any client at any age and general skill — In fact, I think you can even do this one handed.
PENGUIN RECYCLED PLASTIC BOTTLEĀ
Targets:
- Fine motor skills
- Executive functions
Materials, Tools & Equipment:
- recycled plastic bottle (1.5 L and up)
- cutter
- scissors
- glue gun
- Paint (white, black, and other colors for decoration)
- Paint brushes (different sizes)
- Tiny pompoms
- Strip of cloth
Ideas
- You can choose not to glue the penguin’s cap on so that it can become a container for candies (!), paper clips or other small items. This can also be turned into a coin bank if you cut a slit on top.
- Researching on the internet, you can mix acrylic paint with PVA glue such as Elmer’s to make the colors stick better to the bottle
